| LIQUID COLOR FOR THERMOPLASTIC | ||||
| We custom formulate colors as well as maintain a standard color line for a wide variety of plastic resins. We offers full range of Ral and Pantone colors. User can also achieve the designed color by mixing system colors.The more system colors you choose from, the more color shades can be made. We offer basic selection of standardized systems colors that offer the ability to cover a significant portion of the color wheel. At the processing site this enables the customer to quickly respond to almost every colour demand in the market. Special effect colours like pearl and metallic effect can be added to this basic selection of system colors. |

| Liquid colorant | ||||
Our liquid colorants are viscous, free-flowing dispersions of pigments in polymer-compatible carriers. System colors are based on pigments and dyestuff and other coloring materials which have excellent properties in light fastness weatherability and heat stability.They are based on an environmentally friendly, unique and well-proven technology and contain individual products that meet the requirements for FDA, packaging, toy, and other specific regulatory approvals (REACH). We can also produce biodegradable liquid colorants |

Compatibility is universal with all major resins. When properly formulated, liquid systems are not just compatible with the base resin, but frequently improve the process and/or performance properties of plastic parts. In the manufacture of the liquid colorants we utilize the "total systems approach", i.e. taking into consideration not only desired shade, but chemistry of the base resin, process considerations, and expected level of performance of the plastic parts. |
Versatility is obtained in formulation: liquid systems can incorporate both solid and liquid additives. Better thermal stability due to the fact that manufacturing of liquid colorants does not involve heating of the material (Blowing Agent). Our liquid colors concentrates offer the following benefits, especially with transparent and translucent films and profiles: They are used in variety of applications, such as: Home and Garden, Toys, Personal Care, Sports/ Recreation , Packaging, including beverage bottles, Graphic Arts, Glasses ... |
| Advantage of the technology | ||||
- Significantly lower coloring costs |
Higher letdown ratios (in some cases as high as 1000/1). Low colour concentrations of between 0.1 and 0.5 percentage generally yield completely homogenous results in transparent plastic articles, whereas conventional colorants normally have to be dosed at concentrations of between 2 and 6 percentage. |
- Optimal results from colorants used |
Extremely fine pigment dispersion yields maximum color strength. Homogenous color distribution after only a few cycles. - Better color consistency due to more precise metering of the color - Manufacture of high quality products with low reject rate - Reduction in required storage space |

The MEDIACOLOR peristaltic pump is designed to accurately meter precise amounts of liquid color into the main flow of natural material directly above the throat of your process machine. Metering is accomplished by the compression and release of a flexible pumping tube by three or six hardened dowel pins that rotate within a COLE PARMER housing. Only the colorant feed tube comes in contact with peristaltic pump rollers, allowing 10-minute color changeovers. Various tubing diameters and assemblies are available to provide a wide range of outputs. Our pump can be used for both injection and extrusion. |
Our liquid color and additive concentrates can be injected through special hose or situated directly below the polymer feed hopper. When this method is used, injection through a metal lance above the screw is recommended. |
| ADDITIVES FOR THERMOPLASTICS | ||||
Liquid additives are the most economical and efficient way of introducing additives to thermoplastics. A broad range of additive packages can be used separately or in combination with or without colorants
Our liquid colourant for thermoset plastics are available in a wide range of resin-matched vehicles offering total reactivity with all polyester, epoxy and polyurethane resins and compatibility with all PVC and silicone formulations. Primary base colors are maintained in stock for rapid, low-cost blending of custom colors in small or large quantities. These dispersions are smooth, workable pastes comprised of the highest-quality pigments dispersed in a range of liquid and paste vehicles which are 100 percent reactive and/or compatible with thermoset resin systems. This virtually eliminates effects on physical properties and, together with high pigment concentrations, enables the thermoset processor to achieve consistent coloration with unsurpassed ease and economy. |
